So this morning's post brough a letter from Next, telling me that they missed me and here was a £10 off a £40 shop voucher to show how much they cared. This time last year, I would have been straight on the sale section of the website, buying things I didn't truly like or need just because I was getting a good deal. Or so I thought.
But not today. Today the letter went straight into the fire. Yes, there is some regret at not even browsing the website, and not having the thrill of new clothes. But I feel far more self satisfied and proud of myself that I didn't cave into the demands of a shop, of all things. Well done me :)
