Resolutions for 2012

I wasn't going to have any resolutions for 2012 because I didn't want to put myself under any more pressure than having three children under 4 will produce!  I decided that I wasn't going to learn a new skill, volunteer for any more roles, or even bake my way through the Hummingbird cookbook (sorry family) because trying to stick to the resolutions and looking beyond my family was only going to create resentment in me because of the needs of my small people.  Give me a year, and I'll start looking beyond my own front door again.

But upon reflection, I have come up with a few resolutions which are more intended to be useful, productive habits rather than achievements, and I hope that these will stand me in good stead this year:

1. Spend time in The Word each day, even if that is 30 seconds after breakfast or while I get dressed.
2. Have one week a month which is a £21 Grocery Challenge week
3. Keep the kitchen table clear.
4. To choose to not shout at Ruth and Benjamin (unless I need to make myself heard)

I think that these should keep me going and focussed for the year.
