Today, most of the world is remembering the horrifying events that unfolded on a bright sunny day in New York.

But today marks another significant anniversary in our lives. 10 years ago today my lovely hubby gave his life to Christ at the end of the service in my parent's church. We had come back the day before from a holiday in Cornwall to spend a few days with my parents, and so went to their church, the church I grew up in , the next day.

In a beautiful way, we were back at the very same church this morning, 10 years on from Hubby's commitment. Things have changed a lot since then, the church building itself has been remodelled, the congregation has grown, and we are no longer 19 year old students. 10 years ago, Hubby was with the Royal Navy and we were planning a Navy lifestyle in Portsmouth post graduation. Never in a million years did we think that we would be living on the other side of the country, in the countryside with two adorable children with the Royal Navy a distant memory. God's ways are indeed higher than ours, His thoughts are not our thoughts. I am excited to see where God is going to take us in the next 10 years, may it be further than we ever thought, may it be more exciting than we could imagine, but most of all, may it glorify Him.
