Today has been bountiful in more ways than one! I picked 1.5lbs of blackberries from the bush at the back of the house to add to the 12oz already in the freezer from yesterday. I have 7 apples from the tree (lawnmower falls) to peel, cut and freeze. I have 6 or 7 courgettes to pick when Hubby is free to help me manhandle the huge leaves to add to the 14 or so already picked and frozen. Something so satisfying about picking food that you've grown yourself (or not!) and putting it away for winter :)
