This is the apron I made for Ruth's birthday in action. She enjoys wearing it whenever I wear mine, and she's getting the hang of putting on herself. Ruth uses the oben glubs with her toy oven, and has really got used to using them properly.
I have also noticed that Ruth is learning to be a great hostess. She opens the front door and greets all our guests by name, and then asks if they want a drink when they have removed shoes and coats. I'm just so amazed because I've not actively taught her to do this, but I think it is beautiful.
